One Light in the Darkness

Oh my dear Light
Why are you so bright?
I have no offense with your shine
But I do miss my time divine

The darkness has seen it all
And never has it taken any toll
But now the vicinity is spying
That is why I am shying

The camaraderie started in one instance
It has given some moments of assurance
From the teary eyes to wide smiles
We have walked long miles

Night belongs to darkness indeed
Then why’d you come in between?
Here the darkness enlightened more than the light galore
And I miss those glee hours of thinking mode

Hence I request you dear light pole
Please knock somebody else’s door
We are better off your eye
Envying you-Darkness and I
